Just curious for those who have used them do they really help that much with a 95ATX? Because right now.. man that thing is bouncy!!! Can anyone send me pictures of it installed and how it works? I'm a machinist and I'm thinking I might just be able to make something similar.
Also does anyone have a case brand they recommend? Whether that's a stay on style or just a "clam shell" style carry case. Thanks!

What kind of tripod set up are you using? Usually, if the tripod and the head are steady then the scope will be steady.
I use the swarovski stay on case but I think its Outdoor Vision that makes a goodlooking case.

It's a Zomei z818. It has a ball head. I've never really had an issue with it using my krotos 65. But obviously the 95 is much larger and longer and only being held by the small arca plate. It's really not alot of holding area compared to the size and weight.

So I looked up the Zomei and it seems to be a good tripod for what its intended for which is a 35mm camera. And it probably does a good job for regular sized spotting scopes. But put a huge monster like the 95mm atx or bigger and your gonna have instability issues. Im not saying dont get the balancing rail because it has its place but I would test your set up on a bigger tripod and go from there. Sometimes the sporting goods stores will let you try a tripod with their optics in the store. Fatrascal
