Swarovski 10x42 EL Bino-Harness Question

I have the Swaro's and a Marsupial harness both fantastic pieces of kit. When taking the binos in and out of the harness, the caps on the ends cause me some grief ( I know the simple answer would be to remove them). Is anyone else experience this problem?

Is there any way to make this not roatate? I hate that every hour or so I have to unclip my binos and untwist the strap, its getting old. Anything I a missing?

You are already using a protective harness, take them off. I’ve had them off for 5 years, no scratches on glass.
