Since there's no 6x's available and spending $450-500 for a used one is assnine. Would a 10x be second best?

Want to put a better scope on the browning highwall 22-250. And the old triple duce still has a vintage fixed tube.

Basically a range queen though I may do some hunting with it. Won't be doing any close range quick work.

Yes. I have successfully hunted whitetails with the SWFA 10x. I had kills at 80, 125, and 200 yards with it last season. It’s a great hunting scope. I think I actually prefer it to the 6x on rifles where I can’t really count on spotting my hits. One lives on my .25-06 and another is on my T1X. I keep a third on the shelf for use as a backup.

At the S2H course, I sold my backup to the gentleman who showed up with the MOA SFP scope. He had no scope issues the rest of the course. And I have a new backup on my shelf.

Swafa has a super secret spot they sell demo scopes. Been watching 10x hovering around $150-200. Just can't see a need to drop money on a maven or S2H scope for a gun I don't shoot much.
Haha I hear ya. That is the exact reason I have it on the gun mine is on. Nothing wrong with the gun or scope, but it hangs out in the safe quite a bit now a days because its a 300 WSM and not quite as "fun" to shoot as my other guns
