In the 70's (and prior) locals (MT & WY) knew that September was the time to go to Yellowstone- crowds gone, weather near perfect and lots of wildlife. It wasn't too long that folks from outside the area figured it out too and we no longer had crowd free outings in the early fall. Now even in the dead winter there are a lot folks in the park

Who's laughing? Bison violence is real. They're still ticked off because of the mass annihilation on the plains to their ancestors. They want revenge........and reparations.
