Survival Forum?

I hadn't thought about the prepper-type conversation such a forum will likely generate. Like some have said, there are other forums for that. On the other hand, don't read it if it annoys you. It's like this, and Ricky Bobby put it best, "If you don't chew big red, then F*** YOU."

You guys have a kill kit. Just put together a survival kit with instructions for the contents and every time someone asks about survival, pitch your package. Get it! Hahahaha!

I dont see a need for a dedicated survival forum, though I have sometimes perused other sites on that very topic because they have great ideas for storage of dehydrated food and other improvised outdoor gear. I feel like Rokslide alreqdy has forums for all the topics I would be interested in related to the topic, and starting a dedicated survival forum just seems like a huge potential for attracting members and starting threads that diverge from what the site is all about.

That being said, I am always interested in ongoing conversation about being prepared/surviving inclement weather, injury or situations in the backcountry, but again we have other forums that can discuss these topics quite nicely.

Oh ..I get it. I thought it was going to be about strategies for telling your wife you are going hunting for two weeks in the wilderness to celebrate your wedding anniversary and that you bought the latest big eye spotter with her bonus from work.

Sounds pretty great to me, what's the problem?
