Suppressors

(I'm a newb when it comes to cans, so excuse my ignorance)

Would anti-seive help?
Keeping the threads clean and putting some high temp brake anti-seize helps. I still have issues with it occasionally and all I’m saying is that there are better cans with better attachment methods where you don’t have to deal with it at all

Wasn't this just for a 22? My neighbor was trying to give me a copy but the one I saw looked like it was only for 22 cal

The .22 is the free can. Buy any can over a certain amount and the .22 is free, you still have to buy the tax stamp though.

Yep same for me. I don’t put anti sieze on them. Never have had an issue on multiple guns.

Thunderbeast cans are precision cans. A lot of great suppressors out there. But they are made with very tight tolerances and accuracy is important to me for hunting.

Ultra 7 is the gold standard for weight/performance with no POI shift and solid company standing behind the product.
Every can I have ever had has induced a POI shift including all of my TBACs. No can I have or have experience with has ever induced a change in the precision of my rifle(group size).

May I ask what length and contour barrel you have that you experienced no POI shift?

Certainly. I have an ultra 9, 7, and 5. Use them primarily on a 20" proof, 21" havak element, 20" christensen carbon, various AR platform calibers and lengths. Haven't seen a POI shift with any of these. Perhaps I'm lucky...

AB Raptor 10 over an ultra 7.
The AB Raptor 10 is impressive. I love mine.

However, on a big magnum, they do say to only use it with a reflex so I am not sure it's apples to apples with the ultra 7.

I will say that my Raptor 10 with a 5 inch reflex is well worth the weight penalty on my 300 win mag, though.

And flush mounted, the Raptor 10 on any non magnum has been fantastic!

I think the no POI shift they are talking is from taking the can off and back on. Not from unsuppressed to suppressed.
Yeah agree. None of mine shift in that circumstance. They all shift down a tad from shooting with it off vs on due to the added weight.

Assuming a fast 7 - Rem Mag or PRC - What suppressor would you guys say would offer the most sound suppression - and ultra 7, or a Scythe ?
