Would anti-seive help?
What helps is keeping the threads clean.

Keeping the threads clean and putting some high temp brake anti-seize helps. I still have issues with it occasionally and all I’m saying is that there are better cans with better attachment methods where you don’t have to deal with it at all(I'm a newb when it comes to cans, so excuse my ignorance)

Wasn't this just for a 22? My neighbor was trying to give me a copy but the one I saw looked like it was only for 22 cal
Yes. Only 22 is free.Wasn't this just for a 22? My neighbor was trying to give me a copy but the one I saw looked like it was only for 22 cal
That or oil does the opposite. Just attracts carbon.(I'm a newb when it comes to cans, so excuse my ignorance)

AB Raptor 10 over an ultra 7.Check out AB Raptors (love mine) or even the SilencerCo Scythe-Ti.
Every can I have ever had has induced a POI shift including all of my TBACs. No can I have or have experience with has ever induced a change in the precision of my rifle(group size).Ultra 7 is the gold standard for weight/performance with no POI shift and solid company standing behind the product.

May I ask what length and contour barrel you have that you experienced no POI shift?
The AB Raptor 10 is impressive. I love mine.AB Raptor 10 over an ultra 7.
Yeah agree. None of mine shift in that circumstance. They all shift down a tad from shooting with it off vs on due to the added weight.I think the no POI shift they are talking is from taking the can off and back on. Not from unsuppressed to suppressed.
