Easy, nomad Ti XC

I wouldn't be surprised if the Ultra 7 edged the scythe slightly in strict Db measures. Its longer, heavier, and more expensive though. I have a g1 U7 and a scythe but dont care enough to swap them around on the same rifle to try to compare. They are close enough.

Im thinking a 22" barrel, possibly 20 - that why 6-7" high end titatium suppressors make the most sense to me...

I have a backcountry Banish which did great on my sons 6.5 creed with a 21" barrel, just want to take up the suppression ability for one that will go on a magnum 7.

I’d want a 6-7” on a 22” barrel.

If willing to go shorter, like 18” I think a bigger suppressor does cut down on more recoil.
 
I am thrilled with my Resilient Jolene S. I also have a DD Enticer STi and a DTF 8.6 STi as well. DD is about 19 weeks out if you order one. They might be in stock somewhere though.

I've been watching dealers regularly and haven't caught one until today when my local dealer somehow had one sitting there. I think you've just got to keep checking everywhere until one shows up. Super popular right now.

Oh and the Nomad Ti XC are awesome too :)
The DD Enticers are great for the $$$ with not much less performance than the Nomad. A stainless steel model is less than $500. I don't own one but probably will at that price.

I had a weld fail on mine last weekend (after about 200 rounds on 7 prc). Quickly received a email with return authorization after submitting warranty claim (very good customer service so far). Waiting for either a repaired or new Scythe. Hopefully they will honor the warranty.

If you guys were building a lightweight smaller profile barreled rifle, would you get the barrel you want and thread it 1/2x28 and use an adapter up to 5/8x24? Or would you just get a barrel with a larger profile (.700) at the muzzle? I am thinking the adapters look slick and will give it a nice shoulder and I will be able to get a smaller diameter barrel. Not sure if there are any negatives to the adapters I am not aware of.

If you want a light profile barrel, have your gunsmith machine an adapter or added shoulder directly on your barrel permanently.

It depends on what exactly you are referring to as adapter.

A gunsmith installing what is essentially a permanent bushing the machining the face square, yes that’s feasible.

If you mean adapter such as just a threaded inside and out adapter you buy off whatever website.
Nah not for me.

But I would order whatever is the lightest profile that can be bedded 5/8x24 and have it fluted if I was worried about weight.

Have a smith add a shoulder to the lighter contour and thread 5/8 works well.

It’s just stacking tolerances with those adapters.
And multiple shoulders that would have to be square.

Do it rite, you def don’t want a baffle strike.
