Suppressors that disappointed you and why?

Huxwrx 7.62 heavy/ loud / expensive vs traditional. Flow can are finicky and cause ftf in rifles with adjustable gas block. While traditional cans doesn’t required adjustment every 500 rd.

K size cans the worst in performance.

B&T tiger 22 while can is really quite. It was delivered with lot of shavings inside. While shooting supressor unscrewing itself from rear cap.

You have 2 banish silencers?!?!? Ouch…..
Only an idiot would have 2 Banish silencers. I actually have 4

First can ever was the fullsize rimfire. No complaints about that one. Next I ordered the Gold and was bought into their easy ecosystem. Bought a Backcountry and got a free small rimfire one that sucks.

Then I learned Pew Science existed...

The full-size Banish 22 is a great can, just probably more expensive than similar alternatives. Some of the other Banish cans measure out fairly well. Not best in class, but hardly terrible.

I really want to like my Velos 7.62. But I can’t keep the darn thing mounted tight with the ASR mount. One more try and that mount is down the road. I’ll switch to an AREA 419 Charlie adapter and know it’ll stay tight to the muzzle.

I have the regular rimfire banish 22 and other than looking weird, it’s actually pretty good. My banish 30 though, what a pos. I hate that thing. I sort of hope somebody breaks into my truck and steals it so I can claim insurance and just be done with it.

I have a long list:

Banish 46 (original), heavy, 21oz. It is quiet and a well built can. Just too heavy to run on anything other than a sbr.
JK Armament 45 cal 155. Loud and not enough volume for a 45 cal rifle. Currently running it on a big bore ar and it’s not horrible in that use case.
Ocl hydrogen L, again a heavy and long can. 14 oz with adapter. Quiet and will live on a range toy due to weight.
Scythe Ti, enough said.

Still looking for a 45 cal rifle can that’s quiet and 10-11 oz. Anechoix 45 L is close. Decent volume and light, but could be quieter. Not horrible with the closed endcap.

I have that one and have been thinking about moving it to my heavy 6.5CM because it does reduce recoil nicely. It is just Ok for sound suppression. I only shoot the heavy 6.5 at the range with ears.

It does do well with recoil. I’ll run it the next Hunter match I do most likely for weight and recoil since I have ears on anyway.
