Wanting to pick up a suppressor for my 22-250 for coyote hunting, anyone use the TBAC ultra 7 or 9 if so would you recommend them. Appreciate any feedback or advice on them

Do you have suppressor experience? What are you trying to accomplish? You can't really drop decibels (dbs) on 4000 fps so get the one you think looks coolest or save the stamp for some other application.

TBAC Ultra suppressors are pretty much the gold standard and what all others are compared to. If you want a suppressor and you can find a TBAC Gen2 Ultra 7 or 9 in stock, get your wallet out, tell the counter guy you want it and start the paperwork immediately.

Depending on how long the barrel is on your 22-250 a Ultra 7 or 9 will greatly suppress the muzzle blast but there is no way to eliminate the sonic crack down range. My 22-250 has a pretty short barrel on it at 18in so even suppressed it's just a little louder than I would consider hearing safe without something stuck in my ears but if you're running a 22+ they're quite a bit easier on the ears. I've been shooting just about everything suppressed for a long time and couldn't imagine going back to shooting with no can on.

Why, I drop them just fine on a 3300 fps round and a 2950 fps round..

Plenty hearing safe.

I wasn't trying to step on toes, just asking questions and giving an opinion ;) I run suppressed a majority of the time but usually not on my speed queens.

Barrel length makes a big difference imho, my 16" ar is louder than my 24" 223 even though the 24" is way faster..

Selling a rifle to free up some funds, going with the 7
Good choice! The TBAC Ultra cans were great before and the new Gen2 version is even better yet. That's a win win in my books! The worst part will be the wait but it actually goes by faster than think.

Wait times were supposed to be improving. Not sure if that's legit. I just received my ultra 5 2 months faster than my ultra 7 last year.

Imo Once you shoot with one you'll never want to be without.

I would like to get one to use on my Browning HC with the weird metric threads but also use it on my Bergara with the standard threads. Guessing it would be best to just get an adaptor for the Browning? If so, any suggestions on which adaptor?

Also does the Ultra 7 significantly reduce recoil as well?

If you get a TBAC with a compact brake thread vs direct thread you would just get a different TBAC brake for each rifle. You could also go for an Area 419 mount.

I have an Ultra 9 and my 308 the recoil is reduced - I cant quantify specifically how much, but it is noticeable.

Not sure if they make one for the suppressor your looking at but the Area 419 adapter may work. Would be a better brake also than the stick Browning one. I’m about to replace my Browning HC MLR 300PRC with a Lantac Dragon brake. I got a Dead Air suppressor though in lockup and getting the keymo adapter for it that just installs over the Lantac brake in a second. Got another Lantac Dragon brake on my 300BLK and may do another on my 6mm ARC. But I currently have an Area 419 on it.
