Trying to swap the 5/8” threaded adapter for a 1/2” on a brand new Dead Air can. They have Thor himself tightening these things on. The stubby spanner wrenches aren’t doing squat.

Looking for a set of soft jaws or a way to adapter a suppressor into a vise safely.

Energetic armament has their Vox blocks. Just wanted to get feedback how they work or if there’s something better? I only have a small harbor freight bench vise.

Bore a hole in a piece of hardwood (or HDPE if you have it) that is a few thousandths smaller than the can OD. Saw that in half and use the pieces as jaw extenders.

Oil filter/strap wrench.

Does the wrench have a handle long enough to put the wrench in the vice?

Put the wrench in the vice, attach wrench to suppressor, then use two hands and some elbow grease to spin the can. Worst case you could put a filter/strap wrench or something on it for leverage.
