Suppressor recoil pulse duration, not reduction

Looking at getting a new suppressor but I'm curious if all suppressors slow the recoil pulse to feel like a spring instead of a fast, sharp hit that a rifle normally feels like. I have only shot my suppressor that I did a form 1 so I don't have anything to compare it to.

It does both, reduces recoil and changes the feel of the recoil impulse. The way I describe it is that it changes the recoil impulse from fast and sharp to a slow push.

I say it feels a bit more like shotgunning.
