Suppressor questions …thunder beast ultras

I’ve got a Hyperion. Since it’s printed, not machined, they can design the internals differently. Also it has more volume than an Ultra 9 so it should be quieter.

I would like to shoot the Hyperion next to the TBAC Magnus.

Anyone have a recommendation for a 22 rimfire can? Settled on a Tbac 7 ultra for my center fire, but would like to get one for a 22lr as well.

Hard to make a bad decision on a 22lr can these days I think. I wouldn't buy anything in aluminum, just so that you can use chemical cleaners.

Been eyeing the TBAC model for a while, but rugged is on the list as well.

I just started the efile journey on the Mack Bros Vapor 22. Several ounces lighter than the TBAC, All titanium, and same price.

How come there is lots of love for the TBAC Ultra 7 and 9 but not much for the 5? Is the shorter length and lighter weight for a hunting setup not enough of a pro compared to the sacrifice in dB and recoil reduction?

The 7 is way quieter than the 5 in my experience, and for not much more length/weight.

The 5 is a great hunting solution, but not an “only can” for most

I have been wondering this exact same thing. To me the 5" would be great for hunting. Small compact and still quieter than standard or braked rifle.

It's a 6CM which is about max for hearing ish safe according to TB. I have a 223-P with the ultra guts on my .223, so it sounds great

I have a TBAC 223P-2 that I've been thinking about sending back and having it re-cored with the new Ultra core.
When you did that to yours was there much noticeable difference in sound suppression with the new Ultra core installed???

I have a SOT and have shot lots of brands like I mentioned above I love the Thunder beast and AB cans. But over the last Month I have shot my buddies CGS Hyperion and Hyperion K. They are freaking quiet, so quiet when my uncle shot his cow elk with one I thought it was a miss fire. They are made with 3d printed Titanium. Defiantly on my buy list! Just like potato chips

I blew the core clean out of my 223P, totally my fault. TB installed the ultra core, no charge. It's so hard to say on the sound difference. The ultra core is very hollow sounding to me. Less snap, if that makes sense.

The Hyperion on any 300 Mag. The K would be my choice for anything 6.5 and under.
