Suppressor Problems

Having reset everything again with an eye to making sure everything is PERFECT vis a vie gas block position I will try a test fire in the AM. Thanks folks,

It's got the index divot 180 degrees below the gas port to align the gas port, so I THINK that it is in the right spot. I also measured and found/marked TDC.
@ACHILLES - I haven't weight it yet as the entire thing came as a kit, so I have no reason to think that the parts are mismatched or wrong for the build.
On the other hand, if anyone ever met my first wife I have zero evidence to say that I am not a first-class moron so...
Unless that divot is manufactured incorrectly or spacing is off. Iirc all mine were offset forward or back and not directly under the port because one of the screws will fill the divot and there's two screws on the gas block. Block may be custom and not use standard spacing is another possibility? You did mention it's DPMS so who knows.

Ok, removed handguard and gas tube/block.
Used brass in chamber - blow into muzzle and as expected I can feel air movement via gas block/muzzle hole.
Gas block reinstalled after indexing.
gas screw fully open - no air flow.
gas screw fully the other direction - no air flow.
individually I can blow through the gas tube and gas block without issue, but once assembled it is greatly reduced (like 90% reduction of air flow).
What is next on the troubleshooting checklist?
Thanks for taking the time to help me out during my moment of frustration.

This is reading that your issue is the gas block alignment- no?

I'd run my cheap borescope through there and check out the alignment. Sounds like the index point for your gas block is wrong or it's being installed incorrectly.

Although Form's natural instinct to "F it, blow on it bro" ((:)definitely makes it sound like that's where your problem lies.

Nobody has any input or a place to start? I have looked at the heavy buffer stuff, but can't say I really wanna spend over $100 on something that may or may not be the problem...
I would try a heavier buffer. By adding weight to the buffer it delays bolt unlocking slightly and can help reduce pressure when it does unlock. I have a 358 socom that tears up the brass from the ejector. Already a heavy buffer, so going heavier yet to see if slowing down more helps.

Odin works adjustable buffer is just over $50. Can be adjusted from regular all the way up to H3 or more if you get extra tungsten weights.

It certainly seems to be the case. I shall remove and reinstall yet again.
I eventually said F it and removed the gas tube and block from an AR10 in the safe. It at least cycles. once. now to jack around with gas settings and see if we can get this mule to haul anything much less the mail. Updates as they happen.
*tips hat*
Thank y'all.
