Suppressor Cover Recommendations

I bought one of Silencer Central’s suppressor covers when I got my Banish Backcountry. I’m constantly having to slide the cover back while at range.

Anyone got a can cover they can recommend that actually stays in position?

Hang tight, I am working on a prototype for LS Wild that is getting sent out today and Monday to some testers…

It is different than anything else on the market. It’s not gonna slip.

It is intended as a hunting rifle suppressor, low shot strings. Light weight, slim, won’t absorb water. Temp to 450.

I tested it with 8 shot string magnum, 10 6.5 creed, and we shot 30+ sighting in a new Howa Mini .223. Kept mirage down until the end of the 30 round slowish fire string as we were testing ammo.

@General RE LEE if you want, PM me and I will make one for you to test. Need your suppressor and address.

If you need someone to test one on an AB Raptor, I'm your man. I've been using silicone and tape over them, but if these work like I think they will I'll be buying a couple.

Seconded. I have this cover on my Banish Backcountry and it's light, durable, and doesn't slip. No silly shoelace ties or velcro. Plus there was enough length for a second can for about $40 shipped.

I've been using covers by TAB Gear with the ridge on the back end and I'm very happy with them. Cannot slide forward under recoil. Sizes are all custom made - send your exact measurements and expect a good, snug fit. The SAS3 slides onto the suppressor from the back, then the suppressor is installed on the rifle. No strings/shock cord to loosen or snag.

"SAS3: A fully enclosed tube of protective material with a recoil ridge sewn into ONE end."

I have used a Cole-Tac and the T&K suppressor covers. The T&K Kilo would be the best one of the two as doesn't seem to slide forward as it has a cinch draw string on the back which I cinch down behind the suppressor and doesn't move forward. Cole-Tac is nice also but hard to cinch down and still moves forward.

I have a question: I bought a T&K kilo cover with the additional sleeve that goes between suppressor and cover. What kind of firing schedule would necessitate that extra sleeve on a .223. Would I need it firing a 4 round magazine every 2 minutes? Every 3 or 4 minutes?

Mine still slides on long strings. Also, these suck in a scabbard if you ever hunt from horses.

Mine hasn’t moved so far, only maybe 80 rounds on it though. I just cinch that cord down tight around the rear of the can.
Yeah I can see it not working well with a scabbard.

@hereinaz those look sweet, I have a Weka waiting for can to get out of jail. Will buy once you post em to compare in future, really like your products. Looking for low profile, hydrophobic, hunting use with 10--15rd groups for testing.
