Suppressor Condom

I'm simple. I don't put anything over the suppressor. If you're worried about rain, you'll likely have your gun covered anyway, or it'll be in your hands with the muzzle facing down. Even if water got inside, it won't make much of a difference.

Regarding electrical tape, when it gets hot it gets extremely sticky and will require you to remove it with something other than hot water. IPA works great an residue. IF you decide to cover just use blue painters tape, or frog tape. It's thinner, sticks just as well, and has less stretch without the mess. Easy to remove and reapply. I always have frog tape with me on a hunt if I need to label things in the field. Anecdotaley, I own a commercial diving company, and we use painters tape on cylinders as well for our technical dives up to 3 to 4 hours underwater, and the tape is still stuck to the cylinders when we come back. Of course we'll change it before the next dive, but a little rains not going to make a difference in comparison.
