So this will be my first year hunting suppressed. I have always used electric tape over my muzzle to prevent debris from getting in my barrel while in the field. I am on the hunt for a latex "condom" or something similar for the end of my suppressor, something that would work with my Scythe with anchor brake and the LS Wild suppressor cover.
Do you use tape on your suppressor? What about everyone with an anchor brake on the end of your can?
FHF gear makes a suppressor end cap but I'm trying to find something that I won't have to remove before firing.

Already did some heat testing with the condoms no go there. It would just melt and gunk up on the suppressor.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I was planning on trying an unlubricated condom, but figured someone had been there done that and could save me the mess. I'm wondering the the brake would blow apart the condom and the cover would prevent melting.

Just put a piece of electrical tape over the end of the suppressor. A plugged suppressor is less of a risk than plugged barrel. I'd avoid suppressor covers. Just one more thing to go wrong and throw off a shot.

After thinking about this.... It wouldnt be permanent at all but you *could* try one of those round stick on felt furniture feet pad things. I've never done it, dont know if it would stay stuck for any given amount of time, OR worse yet seal the hole and do something weird and break something.

Or maybe its loose enough to shoot through it with no issue. Maybe even take a needle and poke holes in it a little. Idk, just thoughts.
