I’ve used the harvester 30 cal can for years and it still rocks. I switched to thunderbeast and I have thousands of rounds through ultra 7 & 9 and they never disappoint. There are a ton of great cans to include the ones I mentioned. At the end of the day it’s what fits your needs , budget , weight and length. Good luck

Yea I’ll definitely be going with a titanium can. But That surprises me. Seems the ultra line is one of the better options. But the scythe is looking like a great choice at this point

Make no mistake, everything TBAC makes is primo product, but, from a straight suppression capability perspective, they have been overtaken. Before the Scythe rolled out, I never recommend anything but Nomad Titanium and TBAC Ultras.

Until Dead Air steps up and gets all the bad Sierra 5s permanently repaired and back to their customers, I can't recommend people buying from them. They have people with cans in the repair queue over 160 days right now. This is seeming to cross over into other non-Sierra 5 cans also having long repair/service timelines.

Got a Christensen Ridgeline fft in 300wsm and I want to suppress it. I don’t have any experience with suppressor and looking for recommendations. I’ve looked at the harvester, ultra 7, and raptor 8 but I’m open to anything

About to order the same riffle. The weight difference is incredible. Yours a 20"?
What suppressor did you end up with? You harvested anything with it yet?

Thunderbeast Magnus is the quietest 30 cal suppressor out there I believe

I run a Nomad LT on my 300wsm and love it. The original LT is smaller, lighter, and 50% less expensive than the Magnus and was the target TBAC sought to beat in development.

I can’t really recommend the Magnus, especially with the new Nomad XC line rolling out. The Nomad L Ti XC is smaller, almost 40% lighter, and still 20% cheaper and will still offer more than pleasing results. At its price point and in the big picture, the can just isn’t that special.

I would have gone with a Sycthe, but I got a killer deal on a Hybrid 46m. $750 for a 46cal, I'll take it.

Not according to their own summit data - OCL hydrogen L is slightly better, but costs and weighs less. The new DA is right there with it as well. And if you look at pew science data, there are a number of silencers that beat the hydrogen L, but were not at the TBAC summit.

From what I have read, the pew data is pretty close to the summit data for cans that have been tested by both. So, that would seem to at least very generally validate the pew methods and data.

Brand loyalty seems to be especially strong with silencers - maybe it is because of the NFA process, or maybe just the lack of objective data. I know I have to catch myself from over hyping the DA and OCL that I have. I am sure TBAC makes great stuff, but it just seems overpriced compared to what else is out there today.
