Like the title says I'm figuring out my setup for next year already, think I am narrowing down between these three and wanted to get some advice/opinions. The setup will be for 90% September elk in Colorado/New Mexico and mostly below treeline, leaning towards Nemo right now since that is what I have and currently own but am trying to save some weight which is why I wanna change it up.

Do you use trekking poles? If not, I would suggest sticking with the nemo. I havent used any of these tents.... They are all quite different though, as I am familiar with them. Do you plan to burn wood? If not, stick with the nemo. Do you want a palace? Get the cimmaron. Do you want a smaller footprint and the ability to burn wood? Super tarp plus annex plus stove....Bug protection? Stick with nemo or get the floorless plus bug netting. There is alot of info here about the cimmaron and supertarp. It just depends on what you want.

Probably won't be burning wood since its early September mostly. Not to worried about bugs. I picked the three since they are each different types of shelters and (tent, tarp, and tipi) and they are all within the price range I'm wanting to stay at. I am also looking at maybe the ParaTarp with the annex to add some length

No experience with the Nemo but I have a Big Agnes Copper Spur ul2 as my “full tent” option. Own an 8x10 flat tarp and a Kifaru Tut (similar to the Cimarron). Sold my SuperTarp since I plan on running either the flat tarp if weather is really good or the Tut if I want a heated shelter. All three have separate purposes and uses and each have their advantages and disadvantages. The trip I’m taking and how I plan to hunt dictates which one I throw in the pack. If it’s buggy, I take the BACS ul2. If I’m going solo, fast, and light I take the 8x10 flat tarp. If I’m taking a buddy or want a heated shelter I take the Tut. Hard to say one is better over the others because they’re all excellent and do their intended jobs well. Hunting around OK I use the full tent option when the bugs are out and the Tut after temps kill them all. When I go to CO during Sept to archery hunt elk I will always take the Tut & stove with the 8x10 as an emergency shelter or covered area around camp.

Unless you need it this year, wait until Feb or March next year and you may have different options.

Yea I don't need it this year so I can wait a little bit, just getting excited about saving close to 3# depending (compared to my current setup)

Cimarron is a great setup, but for a soloist, there may be a couple lighter more minimalist options available.
