Super Down Pro vs Super Down LT?

Ordered the Super Down Pro, haven’t taken the tags off then a week later see the new LT has come out.

As they both have 850+fp down I’m trying to figure out why I wouldn’t send back the Pro?

I’m a bowhunter, primary use is insulation for my upcoming September muley hunt but I’ll use it chasing whitetail & greenheads back home as well.

Any thoughts?

The LT has less insulation. It's a replacement for the super down ultra. I would keep the pro. I'm saving for my pro pants.

850 is the fill power, not the amount of down. Look into how many oz of down in each piece.

multiple the fill rate by the down and then use that number to figure out which is warmer.

The LT uses 1.9 fill of 850 = 1615
Pro uses 3.2 fill of 850 = 2720

The Pro’s would be a good bit warmer

Pro is worth owning, Ultra/LT is a complete waste of money in my opinion. Anything with that little amount of fill is just a sales pitch.

Two different purposes. The Super Down Ultra and the new LT is meant for mid layering. The Pro is an outer wear peice.

How is the pro sized. I ordered the Kenai in XL and was swimming in it. Didn't care for it at all. I have a pro vest in XL ands it fits fine.

I have all XL tops in my Kuiu stuff, Pro feels good. It’s sized as an outer layer. Ultra merino & Peloton 240 all xl fit me well
