Summer is finally here!

Well after a long winter and spring summer finally showed it's beautiful face! Seas were calm enough to make a run to where the big girls live. We saw everything from porpoises and whales to goats. Whales were breaching like crazy! From 0800 to 1400 the fishing was non stop action. Caught my best yet!

Pulled into the bay and pulled some fresh oysters and had them for dinner along with some rockfish.

Came home with 240lbs of meat.

Days like that make you forget about winter real quick.

We didn't actually weigh it. But by the length charts it's around 100lbs.

awesome catch I cant tell you how excited that gets me.gearing up my salmon tackle right now. I'm headed that way in 5 weeks and 3 days but who's counting.its been over 20 years since I have been fishing their. hope my luck Is as good or I may have to do some bribing to get some tips on the hot spots. don't catch them all before I get their.
