Looking for a guide this October, any suggestions?

Must you have a guide? Most outfits offer transport and that's generally enough. We were there in November and tagged out (3 guys) in essentially 2 half days of hunting. Incredible country. Would have stayed out a little longer if we could have.

Jason Bunch, great guy and a hunting machine. Also a fellow veteran I was stationed with in Kodiak. Maybe try getting a goat tag while you're at it...

Not sure if you have looked into the transporter boats? You sleep on the boat and they feed you. Drop you off on shore in the morning and pick you up each afternoon. If the weather is good and you are capable of hiking you have good odds of finding deer.
