I mostly saddle hunt on public land and want a day pack sized pack for carrying saddle gear and essentials that can also easily be used to pack out meat. It is pretty thick where I’m at, and I’m 5’7, so I like the 22” frames for this application. With that in mind, the K4 with 2200 pack and Stryker XL on a 22” duplex tactical or 22” ark seem like the best options. I’d also like the ability to easily add a camo bag in the case that I do a multi day hunt, which I know the XL is capable of. How do you guys think the k4 and 2200 would do in that situation. What do you all think? Any input is welcome

For saddle hunting I've preferred the XL. I've attached the platform bag/pouch on the molle of the XL and it has been easier for me to load items in. Pouches on the back also allow easier access to some items while hanging from the saddle. I still enjoy the 2200 when I want a more compact set-up such as turkey or day-hunts on foot.
