What do you use to keep your straps from dangling?

These keepers, They work great. Attach the base to the part of your strap were its sewn into the material, buckle the strap in place, roll up the tag end and place it on the base then secure with the bungee strap which can be adjusted for length to get a tight fit. When the strap needs extended just pull on the bungee to free the tag end of the strap.

Another vote for the Velcro one wrap. Buy a roll and use some for the straps and some for rolling up gear in your pack. I use it to keep my rain gear rolled up and tight in my lid. More functional and easier to adjust than the rubber straps in my opinion. If you do want the rubber straps go to your local bike shop and ask if they have any road bike tire tubes in their trash. You can usually get them for free that way. Cut it up to desired width and apply as needed.

I went with the Velcro. Works really well.

The Velcro has worked well for me, too. It is also available in a tan color that looks pretty good with Coyote/Olive Drab/Ranger Green/Foliage packs.

I used the Velcro one wrap Kifaru sends with all their packs for a while. Then realized I could tuck the excess straps back under each other or under the bungee and started leaving them at home. I realized every time I had my straps neatly secured with one wrap I always had a reason to undo or adjust them and it was becoming a nuisance item more than a helping item. Haven’t used strap keepers of any kind in several years now and haven’t missed them one bit.
