Stove for new Springbar tent

If Four Dog stove was still making steel stoves I'd get a Two Dog for sure. Looking for some other suggestions for a stove near that size.

They work, but if it is raining and you are trying to dry clothes out you need a wood stove.

Thats why us retired guys don't hunt in the rain and wait for it to stop lol

Those buddy heaters put off moisture, and don't work at high elevations. They have their drawbacks

I use mine at 11K every year, it does take a while to prime but then works great. It does produce moisture but in my wall tents has never been an issue. Now Nylon tents it is a rain forest.

I have used them at 9500 for many years at base camp with no problems. Wet weather in WY, UT and CO has not been a problem for me in all the years I have hunted there but I am usually hunting early before the snows come.

I ended up buying the Winnerwell Woodlander large. Burned it out yesterday but really judge it until I camp with it for days on end.

I have a Winnerwell woolander medium for my 6 person tipi. Its a great stove. Very well made. It will turn the tent into a sauna in minutes. Get the airflow controller pipe to add into the flu pipe. Using this along with the damper on the stove you can adjust airflow to maximize burn time. You can also improve efficiency if you get add the smallest woodstove gasket material around the door. If I fill the stove with wood before bed and damp it way back I'll get about a 4 hour burn.

It'll be late November before I put it to use but I'm more than confident It'll be more than enough. I do have the 10x14 as well.
