Id like to store a couple rafts/ kayaks and one small motor long term in Fairbanks to be used twice a year. Any suggestions for the most cost effective solution.
Thanks!

I've been curious about this same question. Might be worth reaching out to Larry at Pristine Ventures. And posting on the Alaska Outdoors Forum?

Agree. As much as Im up there I need to join that forum.

U-Haul on Airport Road here has a large heated storage facility. No idea on cost but it's a place to start.
Lot of options up there for 100$ a day. That price point though cancels out any financial benefit when storing year round.

Huh. I thought they had yearly rates. Good luck
Price lock for a year.

Smallest is 45$ a month for a 4 x4 x9 if I read that right. ( outside)

104$ a month for the same climate controlled inside

Find a friend that would allow a container on there property.
My friend is on the kenai and I think renting is an easier method.

What happens when you want a trip out of McGrath or Kotezbue, or Bethel?

Google says a 10x10 unheated spot will run you about $100 a month in Fairbanks

Clients and I have used the U-haul Storage on the corner of College and Johansen Expy for years. Cold storage and warm. I'm a fan of cold storage.
