Stopbox Gun Safe

Anyone use a Stopbox as a bedside safe? I have a child who is just beginning to crawl and will be walking soon. I keep a Glock 19 on my nightstand and need a safe to put it in. I’m not worried about fire proof or burglar proof, the gun literally sits on the nightstand 24/7 now. I just want something to keep my kid from getting to it. I don’t really want to deal with batteries or keys, which is why the Stopbox is intriguing to me. I did a search on here and found 3 posts from several years ago and only one of them was from some who had one. I thought maybe some more people have tried them by now.

I use one exactly as you describe. It works for me.

I bought two after two separate friends told me about them. They work great. I would recommend practicing access. The buttons are not as smooth as think and it can be quite loud if you don't put enough pressure on the lid while pressing the combo.
