Thanks! I was curious if my pack for some reason had larger than normal velcro attached or a smaller lumbar pad than normal. I will reach out to SG to see what the new style is and if it’s worth it since I live close to them. If not I will just do what you did!I have the same issue on my Krux evo frame. It happened day 1. I called and was told they could replace it with a “new” version that doesn’t have this issue or I could just run a lighter over it. I ran a lighter over the fray and also put some female Velcro over this area on both sides. I was originally annoyed but the frame and pack perform so well I just needed to let go of the aesthetics and treat it like a tool. I can see how it would be a major issue for some people based on the price perhaps it shouldn’t be happening. SG overall heard my issue, offered help and no complaints there.![]()

Update the thread when you find out? I'd love to know what "new" means when it comes to that Krux belt. Thanks! Good call all around… packs are a tool, and if it carries weight well for you, worrying about cosmetic stuff doesn’t matter, nothing is perfect, so your solution is practical rather than going a different direction and ending up with a less functional tool.I have the same issue on my Krux evo frame.
