Thanks! I was curious if my pack for some reason had larger than normal velcro attached or a smaller lumbar pad than normal. I will reach out to SG to see what the new style is and if it’s worth it since I live close to them. If not I will just do what you did!I have the same issue on my Krux evo frame. It happened day 1. I called and was told they could replace it with a “new” version that doesn’t have this issue or I could just run a lighter over it. I ran a lighter over the fray and also put some female Velcro over this area on both sides. I was originally annoyed but the frame and pack perform so well I just needed to let go of the aesthetics and treat it like a tool. I can see how it would be a major issue for some people based on the price perhaps it shouldn’t be happening. SG overall heard my issue, offered help and no complaints there.

Update the thread when you find out? I'd love to know what "new" means when it comes to that Krux belt. Thanks! Good call all around… packs are a tool, and if it carries weight well for you, worrying about cosmetic stuff doesn’t matter, nothing is perfect, so your solution is practical rather than going a different direction and ending up with a less functional tool.I have the same issue on my Krux evo frame.
