Kurt also has a Solo top lid in the works that Im curious about. Any other Solo owners considering a top lid addition?

I've said since I first owned this pack, it would be perfect if it had a lid. Any idea when the lid thing will come to fruition?

Kotaman, we are anticipating late March/early April for an arrival of the Solo bags. The updated bags have attachment points for the same lid we use on our 3 Sky series packs and the Cirque. This way those who already have a Sky bag can use the same lid without needing to purchase another lid for the Solo. This also allows attachment to the frame for the back points when the bag is separated using the load shelf, just like on our Sky packs. The front-top-outside pocket is slightly larger and I also added two more attachment points for a camp pocket or 2 swing out pockets for added storage on the top inside of the zippered panel. As soon as we have the bags in hand, we will put together a short video showing the added features.

SR80, unfortunately there was just no way to make a lid function properly on the Solo without adding 4 attachment points. While I really try to make our new products applicable to any previous version, this was one case I just couldn't make it happen. Feel free to shoot me an email if you would like to discuss some of the specifics or options.
Best,
Kurt

I was hoping it was going to be for existing Solo packs as well. Oh well the Solo top pocket works well enough for me. Thanks for the clarification Kurt!

Not to hijack the thread, but how are these packs for a longer torso? I'm approx 6'3 with a 20 inch torso but I've had issues with other packs fitting well especially the shoulder straps. Just wondering how the fit is on the Krux frame.

I'm the same height and torso length as you. I have the sky 7400 and I couldn't be happier. Plenty of room for adjustment left over still and the load lifters still have plenty of lift.
