Eh, calculus is different for everyone. Parts of this state are certainly a hellhole and I avoid them at all costs. My area is just fine, and I can leave my house and be in the duck blind in 30 minutes. That's a trade I'll continue to make for now.

My family is all here, my wife's family are third-generation cherry farmers and have lived on the same land for 100+ years. There's a lot of this state worth fighting for, and if all of us hunters and anglers leave, then the world has lost one of its true gems to the disease that is liberalism. Everywhere else has its trade offs, suppressors and SBRs aren't enough reason for me to deal with hurricanes, floods, tornados or humidity, and I'm not in a fire zone.

Look at it this way, I'm one less CA license plate that you'll see at your favorite trailhead.

Fair enough. Maybe one day California will change courses but it’s unlikely. Don’t they limit how much ammo you can buy?

Nope, and the 1-in-30 law just got struck down for good a few weeks ago. We undoubtedly have some ridiculous laws about magazine capacity, the handgun roster, and maglocked ARs but there are workarounds for just about everything. We'll never have suppressors here, but we can have AR pistols. The 2A argument for leaving CA has never made sense to me, but apparently it does for some and that's just fine.

The 2a thing has never been a reason for me hating California. The general disdain the government has for hard workers, over taxation, pandering to the homeless and just the general low quality of the people there is what keeps me away. I know there’s some good people there but I haven’t encountered them on my visits.

California is awesome. I hunt hogs almost every week. I fish hike and deer hunt here. I can hunt all night and fish all day and be within a 45-minute drive to my house. We have lots of national forest. No super cold winters, summers hot, but at least it's not humid. My aera is very red. I rarely run into liberals. The political views and 2a laws suck but hopefully, it will get turned around.

Ironically, non of their packs are allowed to be shipped to CA but they are all shipped out of CA. Makes sense.

Dont forget the almost 100% necessity to own land or have a hunting lease in some of the areas you mentioned. Public land ain't much of a thing in the southeast. This isn't saying there's zero, but compared to the western states it's a big difference.

I don't necessarily agree with most of the politics here, but I'd rather be here than some other states no matter how "free" they make it out to be.

Anyone have any updates/insights on this? Anyone know what's going on with their packs?

They seem to have all their clothes and accessories in stock, but their pack availability is still hit or miss.. barely any tan, half the frame/bag size combos are sold out, almost no "bag-only" options..

I went to the shop the other day as I have a tan frame and wanted a tan 6900 bag. They told me they are dropping the tan color from the line up and keeping the other two. Other than that everything seemed like. It always has been
