Just signed up today, cannot reply to classifieds until so much activity and a possible 7 day + 24 hour soak period. Until then, I'm getting a feel from the Rokslide community on lightweight 4 Season tents. I am leaning more towards the Stone Glacier, which is very much the same as a SlingFin CrossBow 2, but finding that the Kuiu StormStar has some tremendous benefits with the deeper tub and sturdy exterior frame, but lacks the ventilation. Thoughts?

Never had an issue with the ventilation on any of the 4 KUIU tents. Completely agree with the deeper tub. Add the gear loft and footprint and it becomes a great tent for normal camping as well backcountry use.

We do a Raffle + review on lightweight tents and the KUIU Storm Star is the top choice amongst the winners - with the Mountain Star being a close second.

Great feedback! I love the versatility both offer as I could go fly only, fly and a footprint/tub, 3 season with mesh or the full 4 season ten. The SG wins out on weight, but seems to fall to the Kuiu with the color scheme (IMO) and ability to withstand the strongest of snow and winds. I'll take a look into the raffle you've mentioned.

I sold my skyscraper. I’m a larger guy 6’2 220 and call me fancy but I just wanted more room. Also, I had a rain fly puncture SUPER easy and while putting poles through...a puncture on top of the web truss. Now stone glacier immediately sent me a new fly but the material felt like it could break any moment. Weight wasn’t really an issue for me so I went with a big hilleberg and wow...the quality is just so much better. It feels like a fortress.
