I used this pack for summer scouting for a couple years, it's still in great shape, no rips, tears, all the zippers work, etc. I did add male auto lock buckles to the side compression straps.
The only blemishes I could find was a little bit of pilling on the waist belt and shoulder straps. It's not serious or close to wearing through or anything, it still has lots of years of hard use left. I tried to take an up close picture of the waist belt (see picture).
