I bought this from a forum member. I mounted a 223 in in took it to the range once, pulled the 223 action and put it in a Bravo and this has been sitting since. Shot great, I was just experimenting with different stocks. The recoil pad was screwed in and it looks like the back of the recoil area was sanded after install. This is a modified stock and doesn't present itself as new. The modifications never bothered me, but wanted the buyer to know. Below is from the posting that I bought it:
"Stocky's VG carbon for a Tikka. Started life as a bare Carbon stock, Has had the grip built up using Marine Tex for shooter trigger reach, Grovtec QD studs epoxied in, Salmon River ARCA mount added, and a Limbsaver Airtech swapped on #10809. Sponge Painted, and 3 coats of matte clear on it. Also have a Hoptic saddle on the cheek weld area. Proof Sendero barrel channel".
