I had this posted up a while back and didn't see much interest in it, but I would like to get it gone.
It is a Stocky's fiberglass hunter stock for a short action Remington 700. It was opened up a bit just forward of the lug area to accommodate a PVA barrel nut and it had a Wilson #4 contoured Remage barrel in it. It is inletted for a BDL bottom metal. It is colored in blue and black, but it would easily take a sponge paint if you wanted to make it a different color. The weight is exactly 2lbs on my scale. Price is $175 $165, shipped, OBO.
For trades, the things I am interested in are:
6.5 bullets in the 147-156 weight range
7TCU dies
6.5 or 7mm barrel blanks. Medium sporter or lighter contours (I can add cash or other items)
Powder and primers if you are close to Upstate SC for a FTFIMG_3608.jpgIMG_3609.jpg

Can you post a picture of the top showing the inlet? Wondering if it will fit my SPS. I’m in upstate SC as well.

Well, I am going to have to pull this post down.

When I took the pics and put them up here, I just noticed that there is a crack just behind the front pillar. I honestly never noticed it before. You can see it plain as day in the first picture.

If you still want this as a project, just let me know. I will give it to you. I don't think it would be right to charge someone for it. Since Stocky's doesn't make these anymore, I doubt they will warranty it, but I guess you could fix it by grinding that out and filling it in with epoxy.
