150-200 grit works just fine to get the stock roughed up enough for finish to stick well.

If they only Offered Stocks for Knight Rifles or T/C OMegas I would ba glad to get and try 1 but they don't offer for either. Was surely hoping. Guess my choice of Muzzleloaders are as popular as I thought?
Just what I found looking for a new Replacement Stock and one that does needs some inletting to fit / work as only 1 other that does offer for these Rifles.
Oh well just my luck.

This time I used Glidded Max-flex with a rust oleum matte clear.
(I’ve found the prep work matters more than the paint on these.)

I think their vg Hunter is like 32oz. I asked Jake about rokstock options but apparently they had issues with the short action mold and havent revisited. I'd buy a rokstock for my win 70 sa if they had them.
