This might end up being a complete disaster but I couldn’t care less. I have an extra stock and can always put it in XLR chassis. We cut almost 4” off the forearm. The main reason for this was to stiffen it up. The original length was super flimsy and would make contact with the barrel with minimal downward pressure. Cutting the stock (similar to the trekker from Grayboe) was strictly to see how much weight we could drop. All together it took off 6oz. The stock is way stiffer up front, the back half feels the same. Haven’t got to shoot it yet but will in the next few weeks hopefully. Fire away with the “what the hell were you thinking” comments.
