Still Got Their Antlers

Saw this buck at 88 yards off the porch today. He and some others still have their antlers on March 27. His antlers are a mess but has some pretty cool markings on his face.

He really does have a cool face . I hope the green stuff is starting to push up because he looks like he could use a few pounds on him. I hear Colorado had quite a bit of snow this year , how do the deer look ?

I saw a 4pt still packing last week in Northern Utah.

He does look kind of rough, u guys have a tough winter down there this year ?
Should be dropping his horns soon.

The winter here southeast of Denver hasn't been bad. We never had a large dump of snow. We had more days of snow this year but the snows were small.

I noticed green coming up around the house on Saturday. All the deer I've seen look pretty good. We could use some thinning of them, though. I wish they'd give out doe-only tags rather than either sex to force people to shoot does. We're loaded with them.
