To bad your far away, The shop down the road does all the Forest service saws. The guy is a small engine wizard. Looks like the home remedy's have been spoken to. Mine was bad gas, had regular gas with ethanol. My bad, he had it up running in 30 minutes no problem since. I buy the pre mix at tractor supply.

I would have to hear and operate the saw to have a full opinion on whats going on.

Whenever I go to use my my saw I dump the old fuel and put fresh fuel in. That seems to be the biggest culprit of my saw running poorly.

I live at 500' elevation and cut wood up to 5k'. Saw runs just fine. The other day I ran it just below 11k' and had a bear of time getting it going.

I suspect the carb may need rebuilding and possibly some carbs adjustments.
