whats your setup for storing that long?

I’ve got a couple decent sized “tupperdors”. I experimented with different ways to maintain consistent humidity and ultimately landed on a combo of beads and cigar oasis electronic humidifiers. I have Bluetooth hygrometers so I can monitor from my phone and get alerts if humidity drops. I’d never remember to maintain them otherwise

I'm too new to have seen this thread when it originated, but I'm happy it exists!

For me, it's hard to beat pretty much anything by Rocky Patel or Graycliff, usually the more robust blends or 5 Vegas gold. The Vegas I liked so much I had them served at my wedding!

I use large tupperdors and just have the boveda packs to auto ship every 3 months.

Ive really liked cohiba rivera, macanudo france and David off winston churchill the late hour.

Those Davidoff Late Hours are good ones. I’ve got a box of the (I think) petite coronas.

Yea the petite coronas are good. I have 2 left. I have some churchill ones too and they have a fair bit of nicotine in them and make me a bit woozy near the end. I normally perfer a 5x52 robusto in general.

I usually stick to robustos as well for the same reason. That’s about as big of a cigar as I can find time to smoke anyway.

Yea I've got a Gurka centurian chilling in the humidor but at a 6"x60 when I look at it I get a bit green thinking of the 2-3 hr smoke time.

No sir. Fox cigar you can buy a 5 pack instead of having to choke down a whole 20 ct box. The benefit is they are an authorized retail so you can be comfortable you're not getting re-banded junk. I have not found anywhere cheaper then MSRP that seemed legit and would take credit cards. Only fakeass sites that only wante zelle. I did get a 10 ct box of the davidoff the year of the horse. Damn they are good but worth the $$$. Probably not. I just had bad FOMO and had to know.

What humidity percentage do you keep them at?

Another vote for tupperdor here. Ice chests work great if you’re storing lots of boxes. I use 65% boveda packs. They are a real set it and forget it. Humidity will fluctuate from 67% when it’s hot to 64-65% when it gets cold. My hygrometer batteries died years ago and I don’t care, it’s full proof.

I keep them around 67-68%. I live in pretty much a high desert here in Wyoming and the tupperdors seal up well and maintain humidity far better than a wooden humidor.

Media noche is another one of my favorites. I’ve got a few of them hanging around and may have one this week sometime.
