Steiner Predator 8 Eyebox

The Steiner Store on Amazon was having an obscene sale and I absolutely STOLE a Predator 8 2-16x42. I got it in yesterday and the glass is right in there with my Leica and Zeiss V6 with respect to sharpness and clarity. It’s not quite as bright but it’s a 42 instead of a 50 so that’s to be expected. Build is phenomenal and I love damn near everything about it, but…
The eyebox is annoyingly finicky. Like, to the point that I am considering sending it back despite the stupid good deal. Does anyone have any experience with the Predator series? If so, did you have similar issues with the eyebox?

You didn't get any feedback on the Steiner Predator 8 2-16x42 when you asked more than a year ago. Hauling it back up to the top to see if any other comments might surface - from Tl15 or others.

I am going on another hunt next week, I’ll bring it back out and see how it looks against the new H6Xi.

I found the predator 8 to be tight eye box. I have dropped back down to lower mag scopes. My go to is h6xi line and I’m super happy.
