Steiner Predator 4 2.5-10x42mm review

I received a Steiner Predator 4 2.5x10x42 SFP scope (e3 reticle) from Eurooptic this week. I will be picking up a Sako 90 in 7mm-08 today and will put the Steiner on that. Quality rifle, do-it-all cartridge, reasonable SFP scope. I am looking forward to trying out that combo in a couple of days.

If one of you guys with this optic could measure the mounting length (edge of ocular housing to edge of objective bell) that would be greatly appreciated! Not to many specs available for this scope online.

i will try to get some measurements this evening. my calipers just broke last week and haven't picked up a new one but can get you some rough measurements.

Thanks. I was about to edit my post to about price of the H6Xi sits in-between the Predator 4's and Predator 8"s.

The H6Xi's (hunting series) are made in the USA. And my searching says the same thing: the Ranger is made in the USA for the European market, and the Predator is made in Germany for the USA market. What I did not find is why a company would do that; to me it is puzzling.

The T6Xi (tactical), I believe, are just the tactical series. The M5Xi and M7Xi are their military scopes and the P4Xi are the Police series. Seems to be quite a durable and reliable scopes from what I have found.
Different tooling setups in different factories would be a solid guess.
