Anyone got any feedback on the relatively new line from Steiner? It checks a lot of the boxes I was looking for and looking through one next to a Zeiss V6 and a Zeiss LRP S3, optical quality seems to be very similar through all three scopes. I really like that the FFP reticle is usable throughout the zoom range. Wasn't sure what kind of reputation Steiner had for repeatability and reliability?

I don't have experience with them against the NF or Swaro, but I do own one. I have the 3-18 MHR MOA and really like it for what it offers in the magnification range, reticle, weight, turret height, etc. I've seen people say they don't like that the subtensions on the MHR reticle aren't exactly 2 MOA apart, but the way I understand it, they were designed as a quick BDC that can correspond with a bunch of different cartridges. Currently I am using it on a 6.5 PRC and with factory 143 ELD-X ammo, it works out to 500 for me pretty easily. I'm still partial to a BDC style reticle for quick and dirty shots in the field, and if I have a chance I'll dial. This scope checks all the boxes for me, and it's significantly less $$ than the NX8. I liked it enough that I've got a 2.5-12 on order to play around with on a 6mm ARC.

Thanks for the response. Yeah remarkably different price points and seems like a great value.

I have the H6X, S3 Zeiss, NX8 and the newer Z5i plus.

Optically, the Zeiss S3 and Swaro Z5i plus are the best. A very slight edge to the Swaro. The NX8 is right on the heels of both, but if you know what you are looking for it can be seen.
The H6X is just a tad behind all of them. Resolution, low light etc.

As for reliability, I’d say it equal to all mentioned. I haven’t had any issues with mine. Eye box is great, FOV is great.
I have no complaints.
