Stealthcam motion sensor too sensitive

I have the Stealthcam in the pics below. It is taking hundreds of useless pictures a day, owing to an apparently overly sensitive motion sensor. I've reduced the burst size to 1 photo, and the interval between bursts to 10 seconds. I'm concerned if I go much longer, I risk missing follow up pics on animals that only pass through the frame briefly. It also doesn't seem possible to position it so moving vegetation doesn't trigger the sensor. Anybody have solutions to this problem?

Which way is it pointed? The sunlight can cause the sensor to trip.
