Stealth Camera fees

Is there a way to keep taking photos and saving to a folder without paying fees to Stealth? In other words, if I deactivate my account, can I still capture pictures?

The camera itself will still work and capture the photos to the SD card from what I understand.

Thanks. It seems very deceptive (when activating the camera) that they ask for credit card info without stating pictures can be captured without paying a fee.
