Stay on vs Marsupial style case

what style case do you prefer for high end spotter? I like the idea of the swaro stay on case as it offers some protection if a tripod were to get knocked over but the marsupial style case seems to offer better or more cushioned storage for bush plane rides. Which route should I go? Will an atx 85 with stay on covers fit in the marsupial bag? Thanks for the info!

That’s exactly what I do……..Konex Neoprene SOC and then I bought the 95mm Marsupial to fit over the whole package (85mm w/BTX).

I use a swaro ATX 95 and use only the stay on case. I find I use it far more since it just stays on and I don’t have to mess with anything. With the eye piece it adds a good amount of protection and super easy to put on and off. The objective cover has effectively replaced the plastic cap and keeps it very safe and secure.

I use the Outdoor Vision stay on case, as it provides a bit better protection than the Swarovski case, but not sure if the Marsupial will fit over it.
