I really like the looks of Outdoor vision’s spotting scope covers… although they only have them for Swarovski as of right now. I reached out to them last week to see about future plans for getting my 554 and 774 covered. Maybe if they hear from enough of us, it would be worth it to them. I do believe they are a sponsor here ?

I emailed them last week about getting a replacement eyepiece cover and was told they are out of stock but will send me one free of charge when they get in next week.

Mine are the same muledeermike. I sse no problem with them, would be nice if the front one had a way to attach to the scope though.

Drill a small hole in the plastic, get some string and tie one end the the scope, and the other goes through the hole with a stop knot.

Rigged up a double pistol case, fits perfect. Found the cabelas sleeve on eBay, 20$ fits great as well.

6.3 oz on my scale without the velcro focus knob cover and with the removable eyepiece neck. If you remove the eyepiece neck you'll save another ounce maybe.

I use the C771 case in my pack and hated it at first. It's grown on me though and now I prefer it over a sock. When packing my scope on a wheeler, boat or plane I use the padded CNW-13 case. Lots of protection and saves needing to wrap it up in jackets.

The padded CNW-13 case is 6.8 oz fwiw

Are you still happy with the kowa cases? I'm trying to decide between the cnw-13 or a marsupial gear case & was curious how much padding the cnw-13 had? I can't seem to find any good videos or in depth pictures with it unzipped/open anywhere online.

Sorry, looks like I missed this somehow.

The C771 case has much more padding than the cnw-13. So much more that it would be very tight in the side pocket of my pack. I think the cnw-13 has enough padding for the average user who doesn’t abuse their gear. I feel confident that if my tripod tipped over while glassing in a sitting position my scope wouldn’t get dinged through the cover. I’m not familiar with the marsupial cover, though.

A guy on a different thread said he used the atx 65mm cover from phone skope for his 773. Looks like a great fit. I have a 774 and just ordered the atx straight cover. Will update on how it fits when I receive it.

Yes. The big lens cover fits good. The eyepiece neoprene cover is a little big for my liking. The cover in the pic is my old one that came with the scope.

Let’s dredge this one up out of the basement to see if there has been any headway. I’m still waiting on a good stay on case for my Kowa 774. I’ve got the Swaro optics armor on it now, but the end caps don’t fit well, and the edges of the scope aren’t well protected. I sure hope you guys have good news for me!

We all waited to no avail unfortunately. The 77 is now discontinued.

I ended up buying the KOWA cordura case. If I was using it for sheep hunting I would wrap it in vets tape.
