Stashing suppressor on multistate trip including CA

This is a reason why I bought a few AB cans..... Combine that with a "Heyyyyyyyyyyy Offffiiiiicccccceeeerrrrrrr", you tend to get a pass real fast.

This forum needs a "Not Legal Advice, but..." section.

I am a lawyer, but I am not providing legal advice.

But, my advice as a layperson to anyone is don't risk getting caught in California with a so called "illegal" firearm. Even if they don't give you a prison sentence, they will stick you with a felony and you just became a bow hunter for everything.

Most people don't jump on the interwebs looking for advice on how to commit a felony without being caught.
First day on the internet, eh? Many people actively post videos of them committing felonies on the internet every day.

My advice to OP: A multi-state hunting trip calls for ear plugs and a thread protector every day. It's not ideal but worrying about that can all the time will highly diminish the enjoyment of the trip. I have done trips like this and left all my cans at home. I was able to plug up every time and I've shot rifles hundreds of times (unfortunately) with out a can or protection so what is one more on an awesome hunting trip?

You lose all your hearing upon death, the goal is to just have a bit left at the end. Having it all is just plain wasteful!
