I’ve been a custom home builder for more than half my life, working with all types of homeowners, personalities, and very specific requests—so I fully understand how demanding and overbearing customers can be. Because of that, I don’t say this lightly: Cody’s communication and customer service are top-tier.
He always replied to my emails promptly, clearly explained the process, and even provided a tentative schedule for when the work would begin. On top of that, he accommodated me when I realized that Unknown Munitions has Tikka components (this being my first rifle getting Cerakoted & first time working with UM). That flexibility alone speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction.
This review may be a bit premature since I haven’t received the finished rifle back yet, but I felt it was important to put this out there based on the experience so far. I’m scheduled to receive it back in a couple of months, and I’ll absolutely follow up with another review once I can speak to the quality of the Cerakote work itself.
I’ve read plenty of negative reviews online about companies that do Cerakote work, which made me cautious going in. Based on my experience so far, don’t hesitate. Cody at Unknown Munitions sets the standard for communication, professionalism, and customer care.
