lot nicer guns for the money than staccato. I'm a 2011 junkie. Do you have a use case and a budget i can definitely help steer you in a better direction unless you need to have it for the "well known" factor
You realize the Staccato is about half the price of the Hyperion, right? If I was already spending Staccato money, I’d hold off and get an Atlas Hyperion.
If it’s a woods gun in case of bears I’d say you’re severely under gunned. Prob 10mm would be better and if state allows I’d do a pdw or at least a ported 10mm. Staccato isn’t what they used to be the tolerance and fit and finish of the pistols isn’t as great as what they were even 3-4 years ago. The HD line is an abomination only to appeal to the military and LEO market. They have lost their way in the double stack 1911 game. Understand as a business that military and Leo are amazing contracts though.Best shooting gun that is reliable enough to carry in the woods for bears. From
My research it seems staccato has the the best reputation for reliability in the 2011 camp and 2011’s in general are the most shoot able double digit capacity 9 mm platform
2k rounds no issues. I came from Glock and canik to this being first 2011.. have loved shooting it, fair warning the gun will make you think your the next John wick til you show up at a match and folks beating you with stock 400 dollar blue deal trade in glocks ( not that happened to me every week i go)Hyperion was discontinued gotta buy used now Athena is the same gun but less sexyYou realize the Staccato is about half the price of the Hyperion, right?
Atlas money is 2x staccato depending on the model. Is it worth it performance wise: no is it worth it fit and finish wise: it is to me it is but that’s really a personal decision. full disclosure I sold my staccatos and have an either higher end stuff or customized “budget” 2011’sIf I was already spending Staccato money, I’d hold off and get an Atlas Hyperion.
